29- Embryology of the Heart

We are exploring the origins and related structures of the heart. Starting with yolk sac, amniotic cavity, extra- and intraembrionic mesoderm, perineum. Following the pathway of the cardiogenic cells migrating from perineum upwards forming endocardial tubes that are fusing. Brain following the heart, thoracic diaphragm following, limbs growing. The heart as a pivotal center for many developmental movements and our relationship to to the world.
